Appointment of a new Director of IPiN
Minister of Health Izabela Leszczyna appointed Mr. Piotr Nowicki as the Director of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Director Piotr Nowicki is a health care manager and academic lecturer. He gained experience in health care management and hospital restructuring in many health care facilities, and also served as vice-chairman of the Tariff Council at the President of AOTMiT. Currently, he is a member of the Team for systemic changes in health care at the Minister of Health, the Council of Experts at the Ombudsman for Patients' Rights and the Committee of Experts on Health at the Ombudsman. He is the author of, among others: publications on management, medical statistical analyses, public health, negotiations and marketing. Additionally, he is the author and co-author of a number of strategic and restructuring programs. Director Piotr Nowicki's managerial knowledge and managerial experience in health care will support the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.
