Social and professional activation classes for WTZ participants take place in the form of group meetings and individual consultations.

Class schedule (group classes once a week from 8.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.):
time. 9:00 – 10:00 – group classes according to the program
time. 10:30 – 11:00 – completing documentation
time. 11:00 – 12:00 – group classes
time. 12:30 – 13:00 – completing documentation
time. 13:00 – 15:30 – individual meetings with participants according to the program.

In addition, interested participants have the opportunity to take advantage of individual meetings on other days of the week from: from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The aim of the classes is:

  • assessment of participants' predispositions and professional capabilities
  • awakening the need for professional development
  • assistance in preparing application documents
  • learning presentation skills for a job interview
  • increasing knowledge about employment and current job offers
  • learning how to navigate the open labor market
  • getting acquainted with the basics of labor law

Counseling and psychological activities are intended to:

  • systematic diagnosis of participants' needs for information and assistance in planning their return to the labor market.
  • collecting, updating and sharing educational and career information specific to participants' individual levels
  • providing participants with sources of reliable information at the regional, national, European and global level on:
    • labor market
    • development trends in the world of professions and employment
    • the opportunity to use your skills and talents in various areas of the world of work
    • institutions and organizations supporting the functioning of disabled people in everyday and professional life
    • alternative possibilities for educating socially maladjusted people
  • providing individual educational and career advice to participants
  • conducting group activation classes, preparing for consciously taking up a professional role
  • coordinating the information and advisory activities of the Occupational Therapy Workshop
  • cooperation with institutions supporting the WTZ consulting system, such as: career counseling and planning centers, labor offices, professional development centers, and
  • employers' organizations.

Group classes take place every day, one day a week is designated for each workshop, the program is adapted to the group level. The classes are aimed at providing the necessary knowledge necessary to introduce the participant to the labor market. The classes also include trips to workplaces, meetings with employers, trips to the employment office and job fairs.

Individual meetings with participants take place every day at designated times. A diagnosis is made for each person in order to determine a strategy for working with the person concerned in order to optimally adapt the assistance process to the needs and current situation of the participant. The diagnostic and consultation process ends with the formulation of a contract.

The structure of the diagnostic process for counseling purposes includes:

  • collecting preliminary data
  • general statement of the participant's difficulties
  • defining specific goals of the diagnosis processselection of diagnostic methods
  • data collection
  • descriptive result of a diagnostic test
  • feedback for the participant

Collecting preliminary data involves conducting a conversation aimed at understanding the course of the professional development process and identifying the difficulties experienced. Analysis of documents in relation to specialist opinions, analysis of previous professional activity (contraindications to work). To provide a more complete picture of the participant's profile, it is planned to introduce the Multidimensional Preference Questionnaire WKP intended for use in career counseling.

The next step is to determine the participant's psychophysical capabilities and indicate areas in which he or she can prove himself or herself, and at the same time, areas of professional activity that may generate satisfaction and promote self-fulfillment of a disabled person. The final stage will include participant characteristics, definition of counseling goals and an action plan.
