The Institute of Psychology and Neurology (IPiN) in Warsaw conducts innovative research projects at the intersection of psychology, neurology and neurocognitive science, focusing on understanding the mechanisms of the functioning of the human brain and behavior. Our research covers a broad spectrum of topics aimed at improving mental and neurological health.
We cooperate with interdisciplinary scientific teams and research centers around the world, combining knowledge in the field of psychology, neurology, genetics and medicine. All our research is closely related to clinical practice, which allows for the rapid implementation of new therapeutic and diagnostic solutions.

The Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology is the largest research center in Poland specializing in the development of new methods of treatment and rehabilitation of mental and neurological disorders and in research on the neurobiological mechanisms of disorders in the functions of the central nervous system. It has modern diagnostic and clinical facilities enabling the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and mental diseases. It provides assistance in hospital settings as well as through consultations in outpatient settings.
The task of the Institute is to conduct scientific research and research and development work in order to better meet the health needs of the population and further progress of science in the field of psychiatry, neurology and related fields.
